Contour transforms solid cherry hardwood into a flowing three-dimensional landscape. Individually shaped layers rise, fall, twist, and converge across the sculpture, creating organic forms that change dramatically depending on where you stand.

Crafted entirely from solid cherry hardwood — never plywood — each piece requires over 100 hours of work. The spacing between its sculpted layers creates constantly changing highlights and shadows, giving the piece a sense of movement throughout the day.

The natural grain and warm tones of the cherry remain visible throughout the sculpture and will deepen beautifully as the wood ages. Because of the natural variation in solid hardwood, no two pieces can ever be exactly alike.
