Scarlet Rhythm — Sculptural Padauk Wall Art

61” H × 35” W × 20” D | Solid Padauk Hardwood | $8,300

Scarlet Rhythm is as much sculpture as it is wall art. Crafted from layers of solid Padauk hardwood, the piece twists, expands, and contracts into an organic form that feels almost suspended in motion.

Its dramatic 20-inch depth brings the sculpture far beyond the traditional picture plane. Open spaces between the layers allow the wall and surrounding light to become part of the composition, creating changing shadows and completely different views depending on where you stand.

Padauk is prized for its naturally striking red and crimson coloring—the color comes from the wood itself, not paint or stain. Like all natural hardwoods, its tone and grain will develop character and deepen over time.

One of a Kind: Natural color, grain, and wood characteristics are unique to the piece

Movement captured in wood.

We let the wood do most of the showing off. Grain, knots and natural color are part of the finished piece, not something we hide.
